Each class includes pranayama (yogic breath practices), asana (poses) and relaxation (yoga nidra or other meditative tools).

All levels welcome - it's about becoming friendlier with your own body and mind.

I teach small, bespoke classes (you can read more about them in Om magazine, below) are at Feel Better Every Day. I currently have an occasional space for the Wednesday lunchtime class (12.30-1.30pm). Due to the regulars, this is a very gentle, nourishing class including a 25/30 minute yoga nidra . It's £10.

While there are no refunds for group sessions, if you can give 48 or more hours' notice, your place can be transferred to another available class.

 

I also teach the Thursday lunchtime (12.30-1.45pm) yoga class and cover some others at Benton Hall Golf and Country Club (click HERE for more information). If you're already a member, you can book online. If you're not, you can attend with a member by buying a guest pass (with access to the pool and other facilities, too).

As your yoga teacher, I'll support you by:

* teaching you yoga asanas (postures) and pranayama (breath work) you might also choose to practice at home, between classes

* helping you tune into your own inner wisdom by listening to your body and mind

* helping you deepen your mind-body connection

* teaching you how you can use your body and breath to retrain your brain and nervous system to boost concentration, maximise your potential and deal better with stress, anxiety, trauma, sleep issues and depression

* helping you listen to your experiences with your practice to suggest tweaks

* incorporating my coaching, psychosynthesis and NLP background to help you create a holistic yogic lifestyle that suits you to deepen your practice

* guiding you through visualisations, meditations, yoga nidras and other ways to increase your capacity to be mindful and relax as well as helping you get in touch with your own inner wisdom and guidance

* helping you become friendlier with your own body and mind, on and off the yoga mat and

* teaching you how to stay safe in your practice (although mood is a bigger focus than alignment, I'll teach you how to enter and exit poses safely).
